Job summary

Kineticgroup is seeking a Workday Product Owner to shape the long-term direction of our newly implemented Workday platform across Australia and New Zealand. You will own the roadmap, lifecycle and ongoing health, ensuring sustainable and secure operations while enabling future growth.

Qualifications

• Extensive functional experience as a Workday product, platform or systems owner within a complex environment.
• Experience supporting a Workday implementation and transition to BAU/Lifecycle management.
• Ability to collaborate with Architecture, Integration and Security teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and evolution of the Workday platform (Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Workday Help; Phase 2: Recruitment, Talent, Learning, Advanced Compensation).
• Define and maintain the Workday roadmap aligned with business and technology strategy.
• Provide expert guidance on Workday functionality, configuration and best practices.
• Evaluate new releases and technologies to improve performance and scalability.
• Coordinate with Architecture, Integration, Security teams to align with enterprise standards.
• Partner with HCM Project team to support Phase 2 rollout and improvements.
• Manage relationships with Workday, implementation partners and support providers.
• Oversee daily support, incident resolution, and security/access management.
• Coordinate testing, validation and implementation of changes.
• Establish governance, monitor platform health and adoption.
