Job summary

Boral is seeking a procurement professional to support category strategy for the national carter portfolio, including Lorries Owned Drivers and Multi Fleet Operators. You will drive governance, supplier performance and network efficiency across multi-site operations.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification with understanding of procurement, contract management and supplier performance management.
• Experience in a large, multi-site organisation ideally across transport, logistics or supply chain.
• Clear, professional communication with suppliers and internal teams.
• Strong commercial judgement and stakeholder communication, analytical capability across supplier cost data.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using reporting/visualisation tools such as Tableau or similar.

Responsibilities

• Own commercial and governance support for new carter contracts, current renewals, compliant rate cards and pricing models.
• Maintain supplier segmentation and develop supplier relationship management plans across segments, asset classes and supplier types.
• Monitor transport cost drivers, market conditions and industry trends to identify supplier rationalisation opportunities.
• Lead or support RFQs, tender negotiations, rate reviews and market benchmarking.
• Assist with national and regional spend strategies and manage end-to-end procurement processes for programs/projects.
• Prepare spend insights, KPI/SLA scorecards and performance reporting for stakeholders.
