Job summary

BlueScope is seeking an experienced Category Manager, Logistics to join the Procurement Logistics team based in Port Kembla NSW. Help lead the development, negotiation and management of significant logistics contracts across our Australian businesses.

Reporting to the Manager Procurement and Contracts, Logistics, you will provide strategic logistics advice, lead improvement initiatives, negotiate logistics services, and manage major supplier relationships and contracts spanning multiple

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics and supply chain management.
• Proven ability to develop, negotiate and manage supplier contracts.
• Strong understanding of cost drivers in logistics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies for logistics activities.
• Lead supplier negotiations and sourcing aligned with business plans.
• Partner with Operations, Finance and Legal to identify improvements.
• Govern major logistics contracts and supplier relationships.
• Implement new services agreements and business changes.
• Manage supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead formal contract reviews and cost optimisation initiatives.
