Job summary

Recruitment Hive is seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager for a Federal Government ICT delivery program in Canberra. You will oversee delivery from inception to closure and provide strong technical direction for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include defining schedules, managing budgets, and ensuring governance and risk management. 3–5 years in technical delivery within a high‑pressure ICT environment is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Technical Delivery Management experience in a complex ICT environment.
• Experience managing budgets and compliance for large initiatives.
• Strong governance, risk and quality management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope of projects from inception to closure.
• Define, develop and manage implementation schedules and project budgets.
• Coordinate resources and prepare teams for kick-off and milestones.
• Provide technical direction and leadership to teams.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Lead and manage developers, engineers and other technical professionals.
• Identify and manage risks related to technical delivery.
• Provide technical expertise to resolve complex challenges.
