Job summary

Public Sector People seeks an experienced IT Delivery Manager for a Canberra-based contract through to 30 June 2027. The role focuses on delivering critical ICT initiatives for a national government client, ensuring secure and resilient systems while coordinating complex integrations and testing.

You will manage day-to-day IT activities, plan disaster recovery and business continuity testing, and oversee external assurance activities within tight timelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience managing ICT projects delivering to time, cost, quality and scope.
• Demonstrated experience planning and delivering test assurance activities within scheduled timelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interpret and communicate technical information to varied audiences.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to manage high volumes of work and changing priorities.
• An active NV1 security clearance prior to commencement.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day implementation of critical IT activities and assurance processes.
• Planning and coordinating integration, data flow, capacity and load, disaster recovery and business continuity testing.
• Managing Production Verification Testing and external assurance activities where required.
• Coordinating resources to deliver key outcomes within agreed timeframes.
• Providing timely advice on risks, issues and operational decisions.
• Supporting the effective implementation and maintenance of secure, reliable and resilient IT systems.
• Prioritising development and delivery activities to ensure resources are effectively allocated.
• Managing competing priorities and working across multiple technology and business areas.
• Working with technical and non-technical stakeholders to support successful delivery.
