Job summary

Auto & General’s Technology Partnerships team seeks a Technology Vendor Manager in Brisbane. You’ll own key technology vendor relationships end-to-end, ensure obligations, SLAs and CPS230/CPS234 compliance, and drive value through collaborations with internal teams.

This hybrid role focuses on risk-managed partnerships and continuous improvement. Based in Toowong, you’ll coordinate with engineering, security, procurement and legal to optimise vendor performance while supporting non-material

Qualifications

• 5+ years in vendor management roles within regulated industries.
• Strong knowledge of technology services and cloud-based solutions.
• Experience applying APRA CPS230 and CPS234 in third-party contexts.
• Excellent contract negotiation and enforcement skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder influence.
• Ability to manage multiple complex vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own relationship with assigned material technology vendors.
• Maintain regular cadence to review performance and issues.
• Escalate vendor issues and drive timely resolutions.
• Identify opportunities for partnership optimisation and value creation.
• Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and contract deliverables.
• Coordinate renewals, negotiations, and amendments with relevant teams.
• Ensure change control processes for vendor engagements.
• Support risk and compliance management including CPS230 CPS234 focus.
