Job summary

Brennan in Canberra is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead end-to-end recruitment across permanent and contract roles, partnering with hiring managers and external customers to source high‑quality technology talent.

You’ll develop strong client relationships within the ACT and Federal Government markets, manage the candidate lifecycle from screening to presenting candidates, and deliver high-quality outcomes in a target-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ recruitment or resourcing experience across permanent and contract roles.
• Experience within IT, technology or professional services preferred.
• Proven track record of meeting gross profit or placement targets.
• Experience engaging with stakeholders at multiple levels, including external customers.
• Strong knowledge of advanced search techniques, including Boolean search.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full candidate lifecycle from screening to presenting candidates.
• Develop and grow client relationships within ACT and Federal Government markets.
• Deliver high-quality recruitment outcomes by understanding requirements and providing market insights.
• Build proactive talent pipelines across ICT disciplines to support client needs.
• Utilise a range of sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
