Job summary

Transport for NSW seeks an experienced Technology Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of projects within the Opal Next Generation (ONG) program. You will drive scope, budget, schedule, vendor management and governance to ensure successful delivery.

The role is a fixed-term, flexible hybrid position based in Parramatta, NSW, with 50% office time at Parramatta Square and/or Macquarie Park. It runs until 31 July 2028 and requires strong stakeholder engagement and reporting discipline.

Qualifications

• Experienced Technology Project Manager with 3–4 years’ experience delivering systems projects.
• Solid understanding of the systems delivery lifecycle and governance.
• Exceptional communicator with strong external stakeholder management.
• Pro-active, detail-oriented and delivery-focused.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project management of one or more technology projects within the Opal Next Gen program.
• Drive end-to-end delivery including scope, budget, schedule, vendor management and risk management.
• Maintain project artefacts such as schedules, logs and registers; support mobilisation and costing workbooks.
• Provide accurate reporting and governance compliance to ensure timely delivery.
