Job summary

Vanguard Australia is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead corporate actions-focused digital initiatives, shaping the roadmap and coordinating vendor inputs. You will ensure accurate data delivery to portfolio managers, traders, and accounting teams while partnering with engineering to translate complex needs into practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Corporate Actions experience across middle-office operations and trade lifecycle.
• Strong system architecture, data flows, and integration understanding.
• Ability to think strategically to improve performance and scalability over time.
• Excellent communication for both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leaders.
• Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration across investment, operations, and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the direction of one or more strategic products with cross-divisional impact.
• Partner with investment, operations, technology, and external vendors to deliver product outcomes.
• Coach and support product teams with clarity and accountability.
• Build alignment across internal and external partners to support decisions.
• Lead planning and delivery of new product capabilities with clear requirements and implementation plans.
• Use feedback and data to continuously improve user experience.
• Provide a clear product perspective in business planning and prioritisation.
• Collaborate with engineering to support development, CI, and deployment practices.
• Contribute expertise to strategic initiatives and special projects.
