Job summary

Capability HR is partnering with an established Engineering Consultancy to recruit an experienced Talent Acquisition Business Partner. The role focuses on attracting specialist talent, building strong relationships and proactively shaping recruitment strategy.

Working with leaders and the HR team, you will own the full recruitment lifecycle, develop sourcing strategies and talent pipelines, and contribute to graduate programs, employer branding and employee engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with a strong track record.
• Proven ability to proactively source, headhunt and engage candidates in competitive markets.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple recruitment priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment, ensuring a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
• Develop proactive sourcing and headhunting strategies to attract talent in competitive markets.
• Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, recruitment priorities and hiring decisions.
• Build talent pipelines through professional networks, industry events and educational partnerships.
• Support the development of graduate and internship programmes.
• Lead employer branding initiatives to strengthen talent attraction and market presence.
• Coordinate onboarding, employment documentation and pre‑employment compliance requirements.
• Contribute to employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Provide recruitment insights, track hiring performance and identify process improvements.
• Guide hiring managers on effective interviewing and recruitment practices.

Education

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
