Job summary

Seymour Whyte is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Corporate People & Culture team based at Eight Mile Plains. You will own end-to-end recruitment across a diverse portfolio of roles, from Graduate Engineers to Project Managers, across civil and corporate functions.

You’ll build talent pipelines, manage candidate experience, and partner with hiring managers to deliver the people needed for Australia’s significant infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal Talent Acquisition or recruitment.
• End-to-end recruitment across professional, technical or engineering positions.
• Strong sourcing and candidate marketing capability.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience using an applicant tracking system such as PageUp or similar.
• Knowledge of civil engineering, infrastructure or construction industry preferred.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment across engineering, construction and corporate roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand resourcing needs and workforce plans.
• Write engaging job advertisements and candidate marketing content.
• Source and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn, SEEK and other channels.
• Manage recruitment activity through the applicant tracking system.
• Build talent pools for current and future project opportunities.
• Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
• Build relationships with universities, industry groups, recruitment suppliers and other talent networks.
