Job summary

The Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking a Procurement & Subscriptions Librarian for the A. S. Holmes Library within the Economic Group and Economic Research Department in Sydney.

You will oversee acquisition, licensing, and management of data services and subscriptions to support policy and research work. In this role, you will negotiate contracts, coordinate with Procurement, Finance and Legal teams, and develop usage reporting while engaging stakeholders and maintaining compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with contracts and subscriptions for information resources across multiple formats.
• Knowledge of licensing, copyright, and governance frameworks is essential.
• Ability to coordinate with Procurement, Legal and Finance teams to manage contracts through lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assessment, negotiation, and acquisition of external information resources and data services.
• Coordinate licensing, permissions, and payments for subscriptions.
• Develop expenditure and usage reporting for subscriptions.
• Liaise with stakeholders on renewals, trials, and risk management.
• Support current awareness distribution and information provision across the Bank.
