Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Perth, WA is seeking a Senior Stakeholder Engagement Lead to drive external engagement for major projects. You will guide planning, delivery, and governance of community and regulator interactions, ensuring alignment with project approvals and corporate objectives.

Responsibilities include mapping stakeholders, managing CRM and feedback, and coordinating communications across channels.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in communications or equivalent with 10–13 years’ relevant experience in construction/stakeholder engagement
Experience leading stakeholder engagement strategies for major projects, regulatory approvals or complex environments
Strong ability to manage multiple external stakeholders including regulators, tenants, contractors and community groups

Responsibilities

Lead external stakeholder engagement across the project and estate
Develop stakeholder maps, regulator engagement plans and contractor engagement plans
Manage CRM, complaints, and community feedback for governance and reporting
Coordinate stakeholder updates, newsletters and external messaging across channels
Develop and implement engagement approaches for regulatory approvals
Translate project priorities into engagement actions and communication
Identify risks and develop proactive engagement strategies to maintain positive sentiment
