Job summary

Centurion is seeking a Solution Architect & Development Manager to lead our Software Development and QA team and to shape the architecture and technology roadmap for Centurion's core systems.

You will combine people leadership with hands-on technical leadership across architecture, application development, integrations, Azure and emerging technologies, influencing how we build and modernise systems across a national logistics network.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering or enterprise delivery.
• Proven technical leadership and people management.
• Strong Agile and DevOps experience.
• Hands-on with Azure, C#, .NET, Angular, REST APIs and SQL Server.
• Experience with Entra ID, OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Experience with system integration and architecture design.

Responsibilities

• Lead Software Development and QA teams and guide architecture decisions.
• Own and evolve Centurion core systems architecture.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned to strategy.
• Oversee API, messaging, and data integration across systems.
• Drive modern tech stack and Azure cloud initiatives.
• Establish engineering standards across development, testing, CI/CD.
• Manage vendor relationships and project delivery plans.
• Embed secure‑by‑design practices across development.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements.
