Job summary

Clicks IT Recruitment is recruiting a Lead Technology Architect to shape technology strategy across large-scale, regulated environments. The role requires translating complex requirements into secure, scalable architecture and working with executives, delivery partners and technical teams to drive architectural excellence.

You will lead architecture governance, develop roadmaps, and mentor teams, with an onboarding period followed by flexible hybrid arrangements. Baseline Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Technology Architect, Infrastructure Architect, Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect.
• Ability to analyse complex business and technical problems and provide risk-based recommendations.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive outcomes across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with architecture governance, strategy development and technology planning.
• Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience mentoring teams and transferring knowledge to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Infrastructure architecture including cloud, hybrid and on-premises platforms; IAM solutions.

Contract: Initial 12-month engagement with extension options up to 24 months

Working Arrangement: Hybrid (onsite onboarding period followed by flexible arrangements)

As a Lead Technology Architect, you will provide expert architectural leadership across enterprise technology and infrastructure domains. You will analyse complex business challenges, develop strategic solution options, and provide trusted advice that informs technology investment and delivery decisions. Working closely with executives, business leaders, technical teams and delivery partners, you will translate requirements into practical architecture outcomes while ensuring alignment with organisational standards, governance frameworks and future-state technology roadmaps.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience as a Technology Architect, Infrastructure Architect, Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect
• Strong ability to analyse complex business and technical problems and develop practical, risk-based recommendations
• Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving outcomes across multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated capability in architecture governance, strategy development and technology planning
• Outstanding communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience mentoring teams and transferring knowledge to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Infrastructure architecture including cloud, hybrid and on-premises platforms
• Networking, compute, storage, operating systems, virtualisation and hosting technologies
• Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions

you will be requried to hold and active Baseline Clearance for this role
