Job summary

Showtime Consulting is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead end-to-end architecture for a major enterprise transformation spanning customer, identity, billing and data platforms.

The role requires driving architecture governance, dependency management, and alignment to target-state architecture across multiple workstreams while collaborating with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Solution or Enterprise Architecture within large-scale transformations.
• Strong understanding of API-first and event-driven integration patterns.
• Experience with architecture governance practices (ARB, ADR, Design Authority).
• Knowledge of data governance and System of Record vs System of Engagement concepts.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture across multiple transformation workstreams.
• Define architectures aligned with target-state and strategic objectives.
• Lead architecture across customer, identity, billing, support, learning, and data platforms.
• Establish architecture principles, patterns, and design decisions.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to lead architecture across a large-scale enterprise transformation programme spanning customer, identity, billing, support, learning, and data platforms.
This is a senior architecture role responsible for driving end-to-end solution design, architecture governance, dependency management, and alignment to the organisation’s target-state architecture across multiple complex workstreams.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are scalable, integrated, and aligned with broader enterprise architecture objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture across multiple enterprise transformation workstreams.
• Define solution architectures aligned with enterprise target-state architecture and strategic objectives.
• Lead architecture across customer, identity, billing, support, learning, and data platforms.
• Establish and maintain architecture principles, patterns, standards, and design decisions.
• Lead architecture governance through Architecture Review Boards, Architecture Decision Records, and Design Authority processes.
• Manage architectural dependencies and integration requirements across multiple platforms and delivery streams.
• Design and guide API-first and event-driven integration architectures.
• Ensure appropriate alignment between Systems of Record and Systems of Engagement.
• Provide architectural guidance across customer identity, access management, SSO, identity lifecycle, and permissions management.
• Support architecture decisions relating to data platforms, governance, integration, and information flows.
• Identify and manage architectural risks, dependencies, and technical constraints.
• Engage with senior stakeholders across business, technology, vendors, and delivery teams.

What You'll Need

• Extensive experience working in Solution Architecture or Enterprise Architecture roles.
• Strong experience delivering architecture within large-scale enterprise transformation or platform consolidation programmes.
• Strong understanding of API-first and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Experience with architecture governance practices including Architecture Review Boards (ARB), Architecture Decision Records (ADR), and Design Authority.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and platform dependencies.
• Experience with data governance and System of Record versus System of Engagement concepts.
• Ability to develop and maintain end-to-end solution architectures across complex technology environments.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across business, technology, vendors, and delivery teams.
• Ability to influence technical and architectural decisions across multiple workstreams.

Preferred Technology Experience

• Salesforce.
• Zendesk.
• Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM).
• Billing platforms including BillingPlatform or Zuora.
• Databricks.
• Enterprise integration and eventing platforms.
• SSO, identity lifecycle management, and permissions management.
• TOGAF certification or practical experience applying TOGAF principles is desirable.
