Job summary

Court Services Victoria is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee a portfolio of security services contracts across its metropolitan and regional courts. The role provides specialist contract management across the lifecycle, including governance, risk management and continuous improvement to maximise value and service delivery.

Working with business owners, contract users and suppliers, you will ensure performance, compliance and value-for-money while aligning with Victorian Government

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in managing security services or operational contracts within a large or complex organisation.
• Experience developing productive supplier relationships and managing supplier performance.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen with the ability to interpret contractual obligations and manage commercial risks.
• Demonstrated experience working across specialist disciplines to resolve contractual issues and document the basis for decisions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across business areas to support business needs.
• Well-developed negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing or reviewing tender documentation, evaluating tender proposals, negotiating contract terms and conditions, and awarding major service contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of strategic contracts across the contract lifecycle, ensuring obligations are met and value is delivered.
• Monitor supplier performance, address issues, and mitigate commercial risks.
• Provide contract governance, risk management and compliance with procurement requirements.
• Build productive relationships with suppliers and business stakeholders for continuous improvements.
• Support procurement planning, sourcing activities, contract transitions and project work with insights into category strategies.
