Job summary

Court Services Victoria is recruiting for a Contract Manager to lead a portfolio of strategic contracts across the lifecycle, from governance to performance management. You will collaborate with business owners and suppliers, monitor commercial outcomes and drive value for money in a complex, public sector environment.

Demonstrated experience in managing large service contracts, strong negotiation and risk management capabilities, and a strategic mindset are essential for delivering outcomes

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex service or operational contracts in a large organisation.
• Ability to interpret contractual obligations and manage commercial risks.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building across business areas.
• Experience preparing tender documents, evaluating proposals and awarding major contracts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of strategic contracts across the contract lifecycle.
• Provide specialist advice on governance, commercial matters and contract-related risks.
• Monitor supplier performance, variations, extensions and spend against budget.
• Lead contract governance activities and ensure compliance with procurement requirements.
• Collaborate with business owners and suppliers to maximise value and continuous improvement.
