Job summary

Australian Department of Defence – Richmond NSW is seeking an APS 5 Logistics Officer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering Defence capability. You will handle complex material logistics within a governance framework, providing assurance to partners and leading liaison between ALSPO, the Air Force and industry.

Ideal candidates will show demonstrated logistics experience, ability to use supply chain systems, and strong communication and relationship-management skills.

• Demonstrated logistic experience
• Experience in using Supply Chain Systems
• Excellent communication and customer engagement skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Work collaboratively and positively with the broader team
• Flexibility and resilience to respond to changing priorities
• Demonstrated understanding of budget management
• SAP experience advantageous

Responsibilities

• Provide governance and assurance support to industry partners and stakeholders
• Lead and manage liaisons between ALSPO, Air Force and industry partners
• Support the development of logistic plans and capability success
• Deliver complex material logistics activities under limited direction
• Contribute to risk identification and mitigation through data analysis
