Job summary

TAL Services Limited invites applications for a Senior Risk & Compliance Analyst in Sydney. You will strengthen a proactive culture of risk and compliance across the organisation, guiding the business through evolving regulatory obligations.

You will lead risk governance, advise stakeholders on complex matters, and drive timely remediation of incidents while building strong risk capability across TAL. This is a pivotal role for resilience and integrity.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in risk management and/or compliance.
• 3–5 years in control assurance and end-to-end incident management.
• Knowledge of life insurance and superannuation regulatory requirements (Corporations Act, SIS Act, Life Insurance Code).
• Strong analytical capability with sound judgement and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to explain complex information.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of GL&R obligations to maintain compliance and oversight.
• Advise stakeholders on risk and compliance matters to support commercial decisions.
• Assess risk across business change initiatives to enable safe implementation.
• Strengthen risk governance through reporting, insights and oversight of critical operations.
• Drive incident and breach management with timely remediation.
• Evaluate controls and risk processes to strengthen effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
• Coach the Line 1 Risk team while building strong risk capability and a proactive risk culture.
