Job summary

Allianz Australia is seeking a Risk and Compliance Manager to lead the risk and compliance program for Personal Injury and Commercial segments in Sydney. The role partners with line management to identify and treat risks, ensures regulatory adherence and delivers risk insights to executives.

The successful candidate will bring strong governance experience, stakeholder influence, and the ability to translate complex risks into actionable mitigation plans within a large financial services

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in risk, compliance, governance, audit or finance.
• Experience in risk management, compliance or governance.
• Strong understanding of risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the risk and compliance framework within the business.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify, assess, monitor and manage current and emerging risks.
• Provide risk and compliance advice to support business decision-making and strategic initiatives.
• Oversee risk incidents, issues and control effectiveness, ensuring remediation and reporting.
• Monitor compliance obligations and regulatory requirements, supporting adherence across the business.
• Prepare and deliver risk reporting, insights and stakeholder engagement activities to promote a strong risk culture.
