Job summary

Allianz Australia in Sydney seeks a Line 1 Risk and Compliance Manager for its Personal Injury and Commercial units. You will lead the risk and compliance framework, partner with the business to identify and manage risks, and provide practical advice to enable sound decision-making.

This role requires tertiary qualifications or professional certifications, strong regulatory knowledge, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex risk information into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification and/or certifications in risk, compliance, governance, audit or finance.
• Experience in risk management, compliance or governance.
• Strong understanding of risk frameworks, controls and regulatory obligations.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the risk and compliance framework.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify, assess, monitor and manage risks.
• Provide risk and compliance advice to support decision-making.
• Oversee risk incidents, issues and control effectiveness and remediation.
• Monitor regulatory requirements and ensure adherence across the business.
• Prepare and deliver risk reports and engage stakeholders to promote risk culture.
