Job summary

Australian Securities Exchange invites a Senior Manager, Risk & Compliance Advisory to lead the 2nd Line Risk and Compliance function in Sydney. You will shape risk culture, drive enterprise risk framework maintenance, and provide independent review across divisions, influencing governance and remediation programs.

You will partner with Line 1, oversee incident/breach management, and deliver monitoring and reporting on ERMF maturity to support a resilient, compliant marketplace for Australia’s

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in risk, compliance, finance, law, economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years experience in risk management and/or regulatory compliance.
• Senior expertise in risk management concepts, frameworks, and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to influence risk culture and behaviours.
• Experience engaging with and managing committees, working groups and governance forums.
• Experience improving Operational Risk environments and culture.

Responsibilities

• Drive the 2nd Line Risk and Compliance agenda with senior leadership and influence outcomes.
• Turn strategy into clear, practical direction across the business and elevate risk thinking.
• Advise on risk and compliance maturity, ERMF adoption, and governance frameworks.
• Provide guidance to Line 1 on procedures, controls, and compliance changes.
• Deliver Line 2 division level reporting on ERMF maturity and risk insights.
