Geosurv is seeking an experienced Allocator to own the daily scheduling of the Utilities field workforce at our Kogarah head office. Reporting to the General Manager – Utilities, you will ensure the right people with the right skills are on the right projects at the right time.

You will coordinate resources across Locating & Mapping and Investigations & Maintenance teams, improving utilisation and keeping operations running smoothly.

Formación

• Minimum 4 years' experience in allocation, scheduling, or similar operational role.
• Experience in construction, civil infrastructure, utilities or field-based services.
• Experience allocating both people and assets.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities.
• Excellent communication with field employees, managers and clients.
• Ability to maintain accurate schedules and records.

Responsabilidades

• Manage daily allocation and scheduling of field employees.
• Coordinate resources based on project requirements, availability and location.
• Maintain an up-to-date allocation schedule and communicate changes clearly.
• Plan ahead to identify upcoming resource shortages and conflicts.
• Respond quickly to last-minute changes and urgent bookings.
• Forecast workforce requirements and support project mobilisation.
• Ensure employees are qualified, inducted and competent for allocated projects.
• Monitor resource utilisation and minimise downtime.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams on bookings and requirements.
• Review timesheets and assist with operational reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes and productivity.
