Job summary

Uniting NSW & ACT seeks an experienced Reform Strategy Lead to understand government reforms, assess implications for services and identify where to invest, partner, redesign or pursue new opportunities.

Within our Communities Directorate and Business Development Hub, you’ll combine strategic, financial and service delivery insights to help senior leaders shape decisions, guiding reform roadmaps and tender readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience leading government reform or recommissioning responses.
• Understanding NSW and Commonwealth commissioning incl. DCJ/NDIS funding.
• Strong executive writing and bid-readiness experience.
• Experience developing partnerships with ACCOs or Aboriginal-led organisations.

Responsibilities

• Translate policy, funding and commissioning reforms into strategic advice.
• Assess reform implications across service portfolios: financial, workforce, property, operations.
• Develop decision papers, reform roadmaps and executive reporting.
• Identify and prioritise commissioning and tender opportunities with the Business Development Hub.
• Lead collaboration across teams to strengthen partnerships with ACCOs and other sector partners.
