Job summary

The Department of Communities and Justice NSW is seeking a Manager Aboriginal Strategy in Homes NSW to lead complex policy, strategy and reform initiatives that improve outcomes for Aboriginal people within the social housing and homelessness service system.

You will provide high-level authoritative advice to senior leaders, manage resources and team members, and influence stakeholder outcomes to achieve Homes NSW strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering policy reform within housing, homelessness or related service systems.
• Deep understanding of Aboriginal people, culture, and communities.
• Strong policy analysis and system-level thinking.
• Proven ability to engage diverse stakeholders and influence outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead policy and reform initiatives to drive outcomes for Aboriginal people.
• Provide high-level advice to senior leaders and align resources.
• Coach and develop team, manage workplans and priorities.
