Job summary

KBR, Inc. in Adelaide is seeking a Project Risk Lead to drive risk and opportunity management across major infrastructure programs. You will partner with senior leaders to embed ISO 31000-aligned risk practices within project controls and governance frameworks.

In this role, you will lead risk workshops, develop QRA methodologies, and deliver strategic risk reporting to executive forums, strengthening decision-making and project outcomes across portfolios and programs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in risk and/or opportunity management within major infrastructure or capital delivery projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 31000 risk management frameworks.
• Experience facilitating risk workshops and engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated capability in QRA and risk modelling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and governance of risk management frameworks across major projects and programs.
• Facilitate project risk workshops and drive proactive identification and management of risks and opportunities.
• Develop and apply Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) methodologies to support cost and schedule forecasting.
• Partner with project leaders to integrate risk management into project controls and decision-making.
• Prepare risk reporting and recommendations for executive leadership and governance forums.
• Drive continuous improvement and promote a risk-aware culture.
• Mentor project teams to strengthen organisational risk capability.
