Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking an experienced Program and Project Director to lead major infrastructure programs in a client-side environment in Australia.

You will influence outcomes across program lifecycles, manage complex stakeholders and align delivery with safety, cost and schedule targets. You will build high-performing teams, drive continuous improvement, and shape the project portfolio across multiple concurrent projects and contractual models.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as Project Director, Program Manager or Portfolio Manager.
• Track record of strategic leadership, anticipating needs and opportunities, proactively crafting appropriate responses and implementing data based decision making.
• Strong communication and reporting skills with experience working across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Understanding of various delivery/contractual models and legislative WHS requirements.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail in reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of major infrastructure programs within a client-side environment.
• Influence outcomes across the program and each project’s lifecycle by working collaboratively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders including client and KBR team members, asset owners, construction partners, designers, vendors, regulators, and community representatives.
• Identify and understand a business’ contexts and its emerging risks and opportunities and design appropriate action plans in response.
• Lead design development, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases across multiple concurrent projects or programs through a variety of contractual models.
