Job summary

The City of Adelaide is seeking a Project Manager, Waste Services, to lead major service transformation in waste management. You will oversee end-to-end procurement, service reviews, and continuous improvement while coordinating with internal and external partners to deliver value for residents.

You will shape plans, budgets, milestones and risk registers, manage contracts and service agreements, and report to leadership and elected members.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex community-focused end-to-end projects in Local Government.
• Experience delivering end-to-end waste management services in Local Government.
• Experience in project development, management and delivery including service reviews, continuous improvement, reporting, business case development and forecasting.
• Experience in managing procurement and contractual arrangements for complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and coordination of detailed project plans, budgets, milestones and risk registers.
• Deliver procurement activities including RFIs, EOIs, contracts and service agreements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure outcomes are integrated and aligned with community needs.
• Communicate effectively with elected members, senior leaders, external partners and community stakeholders.
