Job summary

Veolia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to safely and efficiently manage waste infrastructure projects in Adelaide and surrounding areas. You will lead the Technical and Innovation team, guiding projects from initiation to handover across multiple sites within approved scope, quality, schedule and budget.

The role requires a Degree in Engineering or related field and 10+ years of construction project experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of demonstrated experience managing construction infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and partner with internal/external stakeholders to deliver projects efficiently.
• Coordinate tender processes, liaising with tenderers and technical SMEs to compile packages.
• Plan, deliver and review projects from initiation to handover.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with contractors.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks and manage claims/disputes.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and Veolia requirements.
• Lead commercial negotiations for changes and amendments.
• Oversee safety, risk assessments and HAZOP studies.
• Oversee site works, commissioning and operational readiness.
• Manage procurement and vendor performance.
