Job summary

Latrobe Regional Health in Gippsland seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead delivery of complex, cross‑organisational programs across the Gippsland Local Health Service Network (GLHSN). You will drive governance, planning and delivery of initiatives that improve healthcare access, workforce capability and system performance.

You will work with the Regional Manager – Strategy and Governance, executives and partner services to ensure successful outcomes, risk management and benefits

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in PM/Health/public admin or equivalent senior PM experience.
• Proven success delivering large-scale projects in healthcare/public sector.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and governance experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive reports and briefs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver strategically significant regional projects and change initiatives with GLHSN alignment.
• Develop and maintain governance frameworks, plans, milestones, risk registers, engagement strategies, benefits realisation and reporting.
• Provide strategic analysis, business case development, options assessments, briefing papers and recommendations for governance decisions.
• Build and maintain relationships with health service executives, clinicians, government agencies, project sponsors and regional partners.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, consultation, facilitation, change management and implementation activities for adoption and readiness.
• Monitor project performance, risks, dependencies and benefits; provide reporting, escalation and continuous improvement recommendations.
