Job summary

M2P Engineering Pty Ltd in Brisbane, Queensland is seeking a Supply Chain Officer to join our Spring Hill head office. You will own the purchasing process, source materials and services, negotiate terms, and keep deliveries moving across projects nationwide.

You will work with project teams, operations and suppliers to secure the right materials at the right time and cost, with a focus on improving purchasing processes and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain in engineering, construction, fabrication or similar industrial environments.
• Knowledge of industrial materials, equipment and consumables; experience sourcing suppliers and managing orders.
• Ability to balance competing priorities, coordinate deliveries and resolve supply issues.
• Strong attention to purchasing records, approvals, quality documentation and invoice reconciliation with ERP/Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the purchasing process: turn approved requisitions into purchase orders and manage through delivery, reconciliation and close-out.
• Secure the right supply: source materials, equipment and services; evaluate quotations; support tender assessments.
• Negotiate value: pricing, delivery schedules and terms within delegated authority.
• Keep deliveries moving: expedite orders, coordinate freight and site receiving requirements; resolve shortages.
• Build reliable supplier relationships: monitor pricing, quality and delivery performance; develop alternative sources.
• Keep the details right: maintain coding, approvals, purchasing records, quality certificates and material traceability; resolve discrepancies.
