Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Procurement Officer or Lead.
• Experience managing multiple procurement packages on major construction projects.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proven negotiation and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all goods are delivered to site within the expected time constraints.
• Expedite pre-ordered and back-ordered materials.
• Coordinate plant transfers between sites.
• Source and negotiate cost-effective rates with new suppliers.
• Ensure suppliers and subcontractors meet safety, environment, quality, price and delivery requirements.
• Liaise between site staff and suppliers to resolve purchasing supply issues.
