Job summary

Cancer Council NSW is seeking a Procurement and Contract Management Lead to develop and embed a robust procurement framework across the organisation. You will lead governance, supplier due diligence and contract management while guiding not-for-profit procurement excellence.

The role offers hybrid work in Sydney with strong collaboration across teams, ensuring value for money and compliance in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, Commerce, Business or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in procurement, contract management, supplier governance, and framework implementation.
• Strong knowledge of lifecycle management, due diligence, contract governance and risk management.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and manage cross-functional projects and organisational change.
• Advanced MS Office and governance systems experience; detail-oriented and autonomous.
• Experience implementing procurement governance in not-for-profit, government or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation and improvement of procurement frameworks and governance.
• Provide organisation-wide procurement and contract management expertise.
• Establish procurement planning, intake, approval and reporting processes.
• Develop supplier due diligence, onboarding, offboarding and evaluation processes.
• Build procurement capability through stakeholder engagement and training.
• Support reporting and governance documentation.
