Job summary

Sundale on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a dedicated Procurement Manager to lead procurement, contracting and supplier governance from Burnside Support Office. You will shape strategy, negotiate complex contracts and partner with executives to drive sustainable value across services.

The role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking and hands-on delivery to improve supplier performance and risk management within a not-for-profit health and community services context.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Commerce or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Postgraduate qualification desirable.
• Professional accreditation or membership desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead Sundale’s procurement strategy, annual procurement plan and governance frameworks.
• Lead category management, sourcing, market engagement, tenders, evaluation and contract award processes.
• Identify supplier consolidation, aggregation and strategic sourcing opportunities.
• Oversee major contracts and high‑value negotiations.
• Establish contract lifecycle, supplier governance and performance frameworks.
• Monitor supplier performance against obligations and service levels.
• Provide procurement and commercial advice to executives.
• Identify and manage procurement, contractual and supplier risks.
• Use expenditure analysis and market intelligence to inform decisions.
• Lead procurement transformation, process improvements and system enhancements.
• Develop reporting frameworks, performance measures and governance dashboards.
• Coach and develop the Procurement and Contracting team.
