Job summary

Fremantle Ports seeks a procurement leader to develop and execute category strategies, manage end-to-end procurement activities and drive supplier engagement. You will provide expert commercial advice to project stakeholders and work with Project Managers, Engineering, Legal, Commercial and Delivery teams to achieve safe, compliant and value-driven outcomes.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in strategic sourcing, tendering, contract negotiations and supplier performance management

Qualifications

Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement and category management.
Proven ability to lead tendering, contract negotiations and supplier engagements.
Strong commercial acumen with risk assessment and value-for-money focus.
Excellent stakeholder management across multidisciplinary teams.
Understanding procurement governance and contractual frameworks.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement and category strategies aligned to project objectives.
Lead sourcing activities including EOI, RFP, RFT, tender evaluation and contract negotiations.
Manage high-value procurement packages and supplier relationships.
Provide market intelligence and risk assessments.
Ensure governance and probity compliance.
Support supplier performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Build relationships across project teams, contractors and suppliers.
