Job summary

Fremantle Ports is seeking an experienced Contracts Advisor to help drive its refreshed 2027 Strategic Plan. Based in Fremantle, WA, you will manage commercial contracts, lead negotiations and build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in contract management or commercial advisory.
• Law studies are highly desirable to navigate contractual obligations and risk.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex agreements and deliver commercially sound outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder relationship skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer commercial contracts and customer agreements
• Lead contract negotiations and deliver commercially sound outcomes
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
• Partner across divisions to meet contractual commitments and customer needs
• Identify and develop new commercial opportunities and partnerships
• Prepare business cases and provide commercial insights and recommendations
• Assess and mitigate contractual, commercial and operational risks
• Represent Fremantle Ports in industry forums, committees and stakeholder groups
• Provide commercial and contractual advice across the organisation, including liaison with Legal
• Promote a strong culture of safety, governance, compliance and ethical business practices
