Job summary

mecwacare is seeking a Pricing Analyst to support commercial decision-making through pricing models and financial analysis across services. You will partner with Finance, Operations and Executive stakeholders to ensure pricing remains sustainable and aligned with funding frameworks.

Hitting strong financial modelling, advanced Excel skills and stakeholder engagement, you will contribute to budgeting, forecasting and strategic business cases within healthcare services.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce or related discipline.
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification is advantageous.
• Experience in pricing, commercial finance, FP&A, management accounting or financial analysis.
• Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with large datasets and translating analysis into actionable business insights.
• Highly developed stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to balance attention to detail with commercial thinking.
• Experience within healthcare, aged care, NFP or service-based industries will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and maintain pricing models.
• Analyse service profitability, margins, trends and funding outcomes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning processes.
• Provide commercial analysis and recommendations to support strategic initiatives and business cases.
• Monitor industry pricing trends, government funding changes and regulatory impacts.
• Partner with operational leaders to understand cost drivers and identify opportunities for improved financial performance.
• Prepare financial modelling, scenario analysis and reporting for senior leadership.
• Ensure pricing frameworks are accurate, compliant and commercially robust.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial systems, processes and reporting tools.
