Job summary

RAC is seeking a Portfolio Manager for a 12-month maximum term contract in West Perth. You will provide independent portfolio assurance, surface risks early and tailor insights for executive audiences, driving better investment decisions and value realization.

Role involves analysing performance, reporting to Board and committees, and collaborating with the Project Delivery Team to mature PM frameworks and templates.

Qualifications

• Experience in a mid-to-senior PMO role with exposure to project delivery.
• Experience developing and enhancing PM policies, frameworks, processes and templates.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
• Comfort working in ambiguity and influence senior stakeholders.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business or Information Technology.
• Project management certification (PMP or PRINCE2) highly regarded.
• Experience with Agile, Lean, change management, portfolio management tools and BI reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent portfolio assurance, including quality reviews of programs and projects.
• Analyse portfolio performance and tailor reports and insights for executives, Board and committee audiences.
• Monitor portfolio financial performance, change control and benefits realisation.
• Partner with Project Delivery Team to improve frameworks, policies, processes and templates.
• Build trusted relationships with business leaders and managers, providing expert advice and influence.
• Contribute analysis and insights to governance forums with risk-informed recommendations.
