Job summary

RAC WA seeks an experienced Finance Business Partner to join the Group Finance team on a 14‑month max term contract, with hybrid work options across West Perth and Joondalup (Collier Pass) and some work‑from‑home days.

You will partner with the CFO team to drive strategy, financial stewardship and performance improvements across RAC’s businesses and support functions, delivering actionable insights and robust financial guidance.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in financial or business‑related discipline are mandatory.
• Membership of ACA or CPA is required.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting standards and compliance obligations.
• Strong accounting, commercial and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Data analytics and planning tool skills.

Responsibilities

• Foster strong relationships across the CFO function, offering insights for growth and profitability.
• Collaborate with business leaders to streamline financial processes and services.
• Develop strategies to enhance financial services and support, focusing on efficiency and compliance.
• Provide expert analysis, advice, and guidance to business leaders, ensuring alignment with RAC’s purpose and mission.
• Partner with leaders to ensure efficient delivery of financial processes, tools, and services to meet business needs within agreed service levels and costs.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes.
• Support key strategic projects with financial expertise to facilitate successful outcomes.
• Identify and capitalise on profitable growth opportunities.
