Job summary

Independent Broad-based Anti-Corruption Commission in Victoria is seeking a Strategic Policy & Research Officer to join the Prevention Policy & Research team on a full-time ongoing basis. You will develop strategic policy advice and write reports addressing contemporary corruption and police misconduct issues in Victoria.

The role reports to the Manager - Prevention Policy & Research and will deliver analysis, prepare briefings, and work with stakeholders to strengthen prevention in the public

Qualifications

• Policy skills – strong research, conceptual and analytical skills for complex policy issues.
• High-level written and verbal skills in policy and report writing, analysis and briefing.
• Experience in public sector environments and a tertiary qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop authoritative briefings, correspondence and advice on policy issues to strengthen corruption prevention.
• Prepare high-quality reports and deliver written and verbal briefings to decision-makers.
• Provide analysis and advice to senior management on policy implications and recommendations.
• Establish collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
