Job summary

The Cairnmillar Institute is seeking a Policy and Project Reporting Coordinator to support governance, policy development, and reporting across strategic initiatives.

You will work closely with senior leaders to monitor projects, develop dashboards and performance metrics, and produce high-quality reports for executive committees. This hybrid/remote role is based in Melbourne, Permanent 0.6 FTE to Full-Time.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in health administration, education, project management, quality management, research, psychology, counselling or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating projects, reporting activities, governance processes or organisational initiatives.
• Experience developing, reviewing or implementing policies and procedures.
• Strong report writing, policy drafting and documentation skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate organisational policy development, review and implementation processes to ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, accreditation and governance requirements.
• Support strategic and operational projects through effective monitoring, reporting, risk tracking and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop and maintain project reporting systems, dashboards, templates and performance metrics to support informed decision‑making.
• Prepare high-quality reports, briefings, papers and committee documentation for Executive Leadership and governance committees.
• Support organisational planning, accreditation activities, quality improvement initiatives and compliance reporting.
• Build strong relationships across the Institute and facilitate collaboration on key organisational priorities.
