Job summary

Maribyrnong City Council is seeking an experienced Corporate Planning and Performance Advisor to join the Corporate Planning and Performance team. The role supports Council's planning, monitoring and reporting cycle and translates strategic priorities into clear operational actions.

You will provide guidance to leaders to plan with confidence, report clearly and use performance data for evidence-based decisions. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support development and continuous improvement of council's corporate planning frameworks and documentation.
• Assist in preparing the annual Council Plan Action Plan and departmental Business Plans.
• Maintain and coordinate the corporate planning cycle including performance reporting and annual reporting.
• Prepare high-quality corporate reports, briefings and performance updates for decision-making.
• Develop training and tools to build organisational capability in planning and reporting.
