Job summary

City of Greater Geelong is seeking a permanent, full‑time Performance Analyst to assess the City’s performance against its priorities, shape data‑driven systems, and champion safe AI and automation to improve planning, reporting and insights.

You’ll lead the Annual Planning Cycle, develop and align service plans, consolidate them into an organisation‑wide plan, track outcomes, and support KPI delivery while mentoring team members.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Commerce or Business, or significant professional experience in commerce/business in a comparable organisation.
• Ability to lead change and engage stakeholders across the City.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Annual Planning Cycle alignment across departments.
• Develop and refine service plans with levels, demand, cost and improvement priorities.
• Consolidate sub-service plans into an organisation-wide plan and identify collaboration opportunities.
• Own integration between service planning and service reviews and monitor actions.
• Support development of annual strategic priorities with clear KPIs.
• Mentor and guide team members in building professional competence.
