Job summary

Maitland City Council is seeking a Manager Planning & Development to lead our Development Planning team and drive excellence in development assessment, customer service, innovation and strategic outcomes.

You will manage complex and often contentious planning matters, represent Council in legal proceedings and regional forums, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement while delivering high quality planning decisions and exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Degree in Town Planning or related discipline.
• Experience leading and developing high performing teams.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and facilitation skills.
