Job summary

Maxlife Care is a doctor-led NDIS provider in New South Wales seeking a relationship-driven Business Development Manager to lead referral growth and partnerships across the South Coast region. You will be an ambassador, building trusted relationships with Support Coordinators, Local Area Coordinators, hospital teams, allied health professionals and community organisations.

You will report to the Head of Client Partnerships, with priorities aligned to maximize impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience in business development, community engagement, stakeholder engagement or disability services.
• Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS and the disability sector, including SIL and complex support needs.
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, with an existing or transferable professional network.
• Confident presentation, networking and communication skills.
• Experience with CRM systems and stakeholder reporting.
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to represent an organisation with warmth and professionalism.
• A relevant qualification in Community Services, Disability, Human Services, Health, Marketing, Business or a related discipline.
• Current driver's licence and willingness to travel across the South Coast region.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with Support Coordinators, LACs, hospital transition teams, allied health professionals, community organisations and other referral partners.
• Identify and pursue referral growth opportunities aligned with Maxlife Care's specialty in complex, high-acuity and behavioural supports.
• Represent Maxlife Care at community events, sector forums, expos and networking opportunities that build brand visibility and trust.
• Deliver informative, culturally responsive presentations and information sessions to stakeholders and referral partners.
• Partner with the Transitions Manager and clinical leadership to ensure referrals from hospitals and health services are handled seamlessly and safely.
• Analyse community needs and market opportunities to inform business development priorities and service positioning.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of stakeholder activity, referrals and pipeline progress, and provide regular reporting to the Head of Client Partnerships.
