Job summary

Events ACT in Canberra seeks a Senior Commercial Partnerships Officer to enhance sponsorships and partnerships across major events. You will identify commercial opportunities, manage relationships and negotiate agreements, ensuring opportunities are activated effectively.

You will work with sponsors, partners and internal teams to deliver exceptional event outcomes, contributing to a high-performing commercial portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in sponsorships, partnerships, account management or event commercial environments.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills to drive commercial outcomes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• Clear written and verbal communication for proposals and reports.
• Collaborative mindset with initiative and commitment to quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new sponsorship opportunities across Canberra's events portfolio.
• Negotiate agreements and deliver sponsorship activations.
• Support event operations and coordinate with sponsors, partners and internal teams.
• Prepare proposals and maintain stakeholder communications in a timely manner.
