Job summary

Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) invites applications for a Project Officer to support national initiatives and the National TAFE Network. You will help with governance, coordination, reporting and secretariat duties across multiple programs.

The role emphasises organization, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment. Temporary position until 31 December 2028 with potential permanency.

Qualifications

• Experience providing project, governance, executive support, program coordination or secretariat services.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain high-quality administrative and governance processes.
• Experience maintaining records management, reporting or project management systems.
• Experience supporting recruitment, procurement, events or stakeholder engagement activities.
• Deep experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint and contemporary project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide governance and secretariat services for national initiatives.
• Coordinate stakeholders and support reporting and project administration.
• Support recruitment, procurement and event activities as needed.
• Assist project leads with governance documentation and records management.
