Job summary

Google is seeking a Strategic Partner Development Manager in Australia/New Zealand to open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions, and evaluate new business opportunities in the online advertising ecosystem.

You will manage cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales, negotiate agreements with music labels and artists, and drive strategic collaborations to grow YouTube's reach across AU/NZ markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in the music industry, digital media, or a related entertainment field.
• Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
• Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
• Experience with the Australia and New Zealand cultural landscapes, music ecosystems and digital streaming trends.

Responsibilities

• As the lead contact for major music labels and distributors in AU/NZ, drive partnerships.
• Maximize activations of managed partners and coordinate cross-functional activities.
• Develop and execute long-term partnership strategies aligned with YouTube's objectives.
• Negotiate and renew agreements with partners, ensuring favorable terms.
• Execute Local to Global initiatives to help AU/NZ artists reach international audiences.
