Job summary

Mornington Peninsula Shire is recruiting a Library Services Lead – Assets & Infrastructure to steer strategic planning, renewal and delivery of library assets and infrastructure. You will develop investment plans and coordinate capital works to support accessible, contemporary library services.

The role requires a tertiary qualification in relevant fields or equivalent leadership experience, with a focus on lifecycle planning and securing grants to strengthen community services.

Qualifications

• Strategic asset and infrastructure planning using data, community insights and asset performance.
• Experience developing lifecycle plans, business cases and investment priorities.
• Understanding of contemporary public library services, collections, technologies and community infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop evidence-based asset management strategies and lifecycle plans.
• Oversee renewal and optimisation of library facilities, collections, furniture, technology and infrastructure.
• Plan and coordinate infrastructure projects from planning through to implementation in line with Council priorities.
• Identify grants and funding opportunities; prepare business cases and funding submissions.
